Ronald D. Rubin, D.D.S.
Dr. Rubin graduated from C.W. Post College majoring in
biology. He received his dental degree from Georgetown
University in 1974 and completed his pediatric dental
residency at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical
Center in 1976. He began his private practice in July
1976. He is a member of the Attending Staff at
Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Rubin is Past President of the
Ohio Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and Past President
of the Division of Pediatric Dentistry at CCHMC. He is
an active member of the following organizations:
American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental
Association, and Ohio Dental Association. Dr. Rubin is
a recipient of the Patrick A. McCole Award for
Excellence in Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Rubin and his
wife Jan live in Mason, Ohio. They have three sons
Elliott, Ben and Evan. They all reside here in
Cincinnati. Elliott and his wife Kelli are expecting
their first child, and Ben and his wife Maureen live in
Covedale. In his spare time Dr. Rubin enjoys music,
photography, reading and time with his family.
Cindy R. Pong, D.D.S.
Dr. Pong grew up in upstate New York where she attended
the State University of New York at Buffalo. She
graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in
Biological Sciences in 1990. She obtained her Doctor of
Dental Surgery from the same university in 1994. From
there, Dr. Pong spent one year in a general practice
residency at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio, and
then pursued specialty training in pediatric dentistry
at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.
She
joined Dr. Rubin in December 2000 and is a full partner
in the practice. She is Past President of the Ohio
Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the Division of
Pediatric Dentistry at CCHMC. In addition, Dr. Pong is
a member of the American Dental Association, the
American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Ohio Dental
Association, and the Ohio Academy of Pediatric
Dentistry. Dr. Pong is also a Diplomate of the American
Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Pong enjoys
traveling, tennis, and spending time with her family.
Dr. Pong, her husband John, and their children Kate,
Kari and CJ live in Mason, Ohio.
 Kyle
T. Reynolds, D.D.S., M.S.
Dr. Reynolds grew up in West Chester, Ohio, where he attended Lakota Local Schools. He graduated
summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Zoology from Miami University in 2006. He obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the The Ohio State University in 2011, where he graduated
magna cum laude, and was inducted into the dental honor society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon. Dr. Reynolds completed his specialty training in 2013 at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, where he received a Master of Science degree and Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Ohio Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the Ohio Dental Association.
Dr. Reynolds enjoys CrossFit workouts, rock climbing, soccer, marathon running, attending church, and traveling.
 Viola Devany, M.D.
Dr. Viola Devany
joined our professional staff in 2006. She received her
bachelor's degree from Kent State University in 1977 in
biology and chemistry. In 1980, she completed her
medical degree at the Ohio State University. She went on
to train in pediatrics at Dallas Children's Hospital
from 1980-1984. She then completed her residency in
anesthesiology at the University of North Carolina at
Chapel Hill from 1984-1986. She completed her post
graduate education with a Fellowship in Pediatric
Anesthesia at Emory University from 1986-1987. Her
specialty is in-office pediatric dental sedation and
anesthesia. She is Assistant Professor at Columbus
Children's Hospital.
We are very proud to have Dr. Devany
on our staff providing sedation and anesthesia services.
Dr. Devany's expertise allows us to
provide complete restorative care for several types of
patients including the very young child, the highly
anxious patient and many of our special needs patients.
Dr. Devany lives in Tipp City, Ohio.
She has three sons Sam, Greg, and Henry. She is active
in her church and participates in medical mission trips
in Jamaica. She loves to read, play euchre and visit
with friends. She also has three affectionate cats.
